All-State Dance Team

​The TDEA All-State Dance Team is comprised of dancers representing schools from across the state of Texas.  All-State dancers participate in an exciting convention experience that includes dance workshops, leadership training, master classes, and networking with other students.  The All-State Dance Team experience culminates in a performance choreographed by a master choreographer.  Each school is allowed to bring one ​All-State dancer per school.  The dance educator from that school must stay at the convention hotel and must have an educator membership.

All-State Convention Package Information

All-State packages:  Having an Educator Membership and attending the TDEA Convention allows you the opportunity to register an All-State student for convention. 
Each school (11th and 12th grade) is allowed to bring one All-State student to convention.  
  • Pricing- $395
  • Includes:  Professional choreography sessions, accommodations at Convention hotel, All-State performance,  Wednesday dinner through Friday dinner, workshop sessions, goody bag and a t-shirt. ​​
  • TDEA requires that a dance educator responsible for the student stay overnight at the Marriott. The attending dance educator is responsible for the student outside of official All-State events listed on the All-State schedule.
  • All-State Dance Team packages have a limited capacity that fill up quickly. Placement on the All-State Dance Team will be filled by registration timestamp. 

All-State Scholarship Information

Each year, TDEA gives scholarships towards the higher education of All-State students.  Scholarship applications are due 
​November 15, 2026.  Scholarship finalists will be notified by Scholarship Chair, Ronnye Cowell by December 20, 2026.
