Get plugged in to dance education when you attend the TDEA Convention! Our members experience three days of energetic professional workshops, an exciting exhibit hall where they can connect with knowledgeable vendors, All-State and collegiate performances, evening events that promote networking, and support from fellow dance educators who are excited to teach dance in the state of Texas! In addition to cutting edge dance curriculum, workshops also incorporate information about the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), Center for the Educator Development in Fine Arts (CEDFA), and Legislative breakthroughs in the area of fine arts/dance. Attendees include dance educators, dance team instructors/coaches at the middle school through the college level, school administrators, college students, future educators, professionally associated businesses and exhibitors, and students who participate as All-State dance team members. Attendees will share educational resources and tools, network with other professionals, and create business partnerships. The Texas Dance Educators Association is committed to providing a professional learning community where innovative ideas in the field of dance are celebrated.
