The 2024 TDEA Convention is January 10th-13th at the Houston Marriott Marquis
Online convention registration opens September 15th and closes November 15th. We recommend that members register for Convention as soon as registration opens since there is a maximum number of spots available for All-State, and we typically fill up within a few weeks. In addition, TDEA offers incentives for paying balances in full, and you won't want to miss out on them. Registering early ensures you can get your invoices to your financial clerks so TDEA can receive payments by the incentive deadline.

Please note the following tentative dates for convention registration and hotel reservations. September 15, 2023 All-State and Member Registration will open online. For liability reasons, the All-State participants must have their director stay on-site at the Marriott.
November 15, 2023 Registration for TDEA Members, All-State and Exhibitors will close. Scholarship forms will be due along with Collegiate Applications for All-State Collegiate Assistants and Collegiate Convention Assistants. This is the balance due deadline to be eligibile for complimentary Recognition Luncheon and Banquet Tickets.
December 10, 2023 Members who registered and paid in full by November 15th will receive a link and access code to sign up for tables for Recognition Luncheon and Banquet. Please note that once tables are full, additional seats are not able to be added. Seats are available on a first come basis.
December 11-15, 2023 Table seats are available for purchase by individuals who are paid in full but did not meet the November 15th deadline for complimentary tickets (if seats are available). ***Please note that tickets sold out for Convention 2023 to these events.
December 15, 2023 Recognition Luncheon and Banquet sign-ups close.
Important Payment Information
***REMINDER*** TDEA must receive an actual payment paid in full by November 15th to be eligible to receive the complimentary Recognition Luncheon and Banquet ticket. Please note that a purchase order is not an actual payment, and TDEA must receive the district check by the deadline.
TDEA is not able to combine or split invoices. As a result, members who will need All-State billed separately will need to register without the All-State package for the initial invoice. You will need to go back into your registration to add in the All-State package to get a updated invoice.
